Description

Marble Valley's Farmstand features not only our fresh produce grown on site (with salad greens and tomatoes being among our specialties): we support other local farms and value-added producers by carrying their products (eggs, pastured-meats and the like) at our farmstand. Our stand is open 7 days a week from mid-May through Thanksgiving week. We have a Spring Seedling sale in mid-May, and fresh farm produce by late May.  Our stand is maintained largely on the Honor System, with full-serve shopping hours from 10 to 2 on Saturdays.  Marble Valley also works extensively with the Kent Food Bank and other agencies to diminish food-insecurity in the region. We provide Grade A produce to the Food Bank weekly, and, in 2024, are piloting a program to offer reduced-cost and/or free gift cards to local food-insecure residents, such that they can shop at our stand daily (versus the once-weekly food bank distribution), with greater convenience and without stigma.
